# Levy waiver

## You can get a levy waiver for your helper during her overseas and hospitalization leave

If your helper is under any of the following categories:

- Went abroad for at least 7 consecutive days
- Issued a hospitalization leave by a local medical institution
- Under the custody of the police or the embassy
- Passed on

 You can apply for the levy waiver using the Check and Pay Levy system. It is capped at 60 days per calendar year, and the levy waiver request will be processed within 12 working days.

If your helper has not returned from home leave, please cancel the work permit before applying for the levy waiver.
