# What is the availability date?

## The availability date indicated on the helper’s profile is based on the date her current employer plans to release her. 

Typically, the availability date is fixed based on the date indicated on the release paper, and the helper will join your family on the transfer date.

However, some helpers may have a range of release dates that the employer can provide, and further discussion is required to confirm this between current and future employers once the hiring has been kicked off. 

Nonetheless, should you require some flexibility on the helper’s transfer date, our team will communicate with her current employer to ensure all parties are aligned. The agency also recommends that the helper move at 12:00 p.m. on the transfer date; however, this is still subject to the agreement from the current employer.
